The biggest constraint to mass producing electric vehicles is batteries. CATL is producing a new battery factory next to the Beijing Tesla Gigafactory. This will expand battery production in China. I expect similar battery plant expansions at other Tesla sites.

Reuters says that CATL will be adding around 5000 more workers for the battery factory and the Beijing location will be rich with talent for the battery company. They will be producing new CTC (Cell-to-Chasis) batteries. and will be integrated into the body of the vehicle.
